Actor - Creative Director

A coffee adventure on an international stage

ENCORE! An evening with a Broadway and West End star.

Returning to the Island this May and to Bournemouth in June will be one of the World’s most successful Musical Theatre Stars of his generation.

For one peformance at the Shanklin Theatre on the Isle of Wight and 2 performances at the Shelley Theatre in Boscombe, Earl Carpenter will perform an intimate and exclusive evening sharing anecdotes and songs from his 25 years as a professional actor in some of the World's most recognised musicals.

Earl is no stranger to the South Coast. Born in Southampton. A resident for 6 years on the Island where he co-produced various concerts with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra at Osborne House, the most recognisable being Les Misérables in Concert back in 2009 and his hugely successful concert, Three Phantoms that premiered at the Medina Theatre in 2010 and has now become bit of a Worldwide accomplishment.

Earl also has strong ties in the Bournemouth area having spent most of his informative years achieving his apprenticeship at Jellicoe Theatre at the Bournemouth and Poole College, various local amateur dramatic societies and original founder of The Big Little Theatre Company, 1991.

Joining Earl will be guest singer, Lisa-Anne Wood. Lisa recently accompanied Earl in Singapore with this concert. She is a former Cosette and Christine Daaé from the West End productions of Cameron Mackintosh’s Les Misérables and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera.

Come and join a very insightful and most of all 'fun' concert with just piano at the Shanklin Theatre on the Isle of Wight on Saturday 6th May 2017 or at the Shelley Theatre in Boscombe on Friday 9th June and Saturday 10th June 2017 and see why this actor is one of the most acclaimed musical theatre performers of his generation.

Over the last 25 years he has performed leading and title roles in some of the World’s greatest musicals. From Cameron Mackintosh's and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s original and 25th Anniversary productions and concert celebrations of Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, The Witches of Eastwick, Sunset Boulevard and Evita in London, Broadway, Toronto, Paris and subsequent Europe, Asia and United Kingdom tours including Colm Wilkinson’s Broadway and Beyond in Japan

From Queen’s We Will Rock You to the world première of Zorro to the Scottish première of The Secret Garden to original UK production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and Bill Kenwright’s Robin, Prince of Sherwood and Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor© Dreamboat and more recently in the award winning Ragtime at the Charing Cross Theatre in London, making him one of the most versatile performers to date.
